Y Patrol Clothing is a brand new British menswear clothing company, having launched its first line of clothes for Spring 2025: The Western Desert Shorts (WDS01).

Their leading design is a reinvention of a British Army Khaki Drill (KD) Shorts, worn in the Mediterranean, North Africa, and the Middle East during WW2.

Influenced by British military patterns, Italian casual sportwear and USA workwear, the shorts are a hybrid functional design.

The Y Patrol designers have endeavored to keep many of original design features.

A redesigned the field dressing pocket for mobile or sunglasses and added a branded key ring attachment for house and car keys. Please refer to Pepe Jeans 1980s.

Thus, the ultimate ambition is for the wearer to stand out, feel confident, wearing an item that has provenance, a story to tell.

Y Patrol Clothing are passionate about what they do, designing high quality clothes to the market.

Crafted from sustainable deadstock fabric 98% Cotton Twill, 2% Elastane, they use a top quality, durable material with smooth feel, the shorts are ‘fitted’.

In addition, the Scorpion badge is based on the LRDG (Long Range Desert Group) insignia.
The shorts are designed and handmade in small factory in London. Y Patrol offer a free of charge mending service.

The mainstay of our operation will be the timeless quality of our garment intertwined with the
expectation of our products lasting a lifetime.

The desert shorts are a first of many other designs we have in the pipeline, encompassing all types of outerwear, jackets, knitwear, tops and trousers. Y Patrol Clothing envisage their designs to be a timeless investment.
