Providing great nursery staff when you need them
Bretsa Recruitment finds temporary and permanent nursery staff to nurseries and schools across London and the south east.
Because we only work with nurseries we speak your language and we’ve usually come across similar staffing problems before. Set up in 2005 and with over 60 years combined experience in the office you can be sure that we know what we’re doing and we’ll be around for the long term.
Permanent staff recruitment
Whether you’re looking for one person in a tricky role or a whole team for a new site, we take the hassle out of permanent recruitment. We’ll search our extensive networks and shortlist only those that match your setting. Of course there’s no charge for receiving CVs or interviewing candidates, and we’ll even guarantee the person with a rebate scheme.
There when you need help
Our office is open and staffed from 7am till 6 pm each weekday so you can speak to someone when you need help most, and with a 15 minute call back promise you won’t be left in the dark.
With a large pool of staff and dedicated consultants for your area we are focussed on finding staff local to you. We’ll even work hard on those short shifts that can prove so tricky for some suppliers.
Thorough screening process
Dealing with nurseries every day we know how to thoroughly check our candidates – we meet all our temporary staff face to face and carry out a knowledge based interview, documents and certificates are verified, and of course then we take up references and enhanced CRB check.
We’re confident in each person we send out so we guarantee them – yes really! But we ultimately rely on you and value your opinion. If you’re not satisfied then we simply won’t charge you.
Setting and maintaining standards
We’re active and vocal members of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) Childcare sector so you can be sure we’re up to date with the latest best practice and standards.
In conjunction with our training partners at our offices in Greenwich we provide a wide variety of training courses from EYFS to confidence building, behaviour management, safeguarding and more. Courses are available to both Bretsa temporary workers and client staff – so if you have identified your own staff in need of specific help just check out our website for up coming dates.
Flexible payments and invoicing
We believe that things should work in the easiest way for you.
At the end of temporary assignments our workers need their hours confirming but that doesn’t just mean timesheet signing – if you prefer you can just email us the hours?
We’ll email invoices and backup timesheets directly to wherever you prefer – they come as easy to open files.
Whether you love the romance of writing out cheques, like to pay your bills outside normal banking hours using BACS, or prefer to just ring up and pay by card (subject to handling fee), we can accommodate your preferences.
We believe passionately in responsible business practices – in both childcare recruitment and minimising our impact on the environment. Here are some of the key ways we’re treading lightly:
Since setting up in 2005 Bretsa has only used recycled paper for all our stationery and promotional items (even using recycled pens!).
In 2008, with the help of ClimateCare, we analysed every aspect of our business operations, including travel by our temporary workers to you, and purchased carbon offset credits. We are proud to be carbon neutral.
In 2011 we went even further and now all our office printer paper is recycled non-bleached – which is why it’s not quite white!
Keeping in touch
We’re a company that is always growing and developing. We’ll keep in touch by phone and email of course but we also have more informal ways. For example we have an annual end of summer party – a chance for you to have a drink on us and catch up with your peers.
We’ve also gone social media crazy. You can now keep up to date with training courses, client parties, nursery news and legislation updates via our blog, our Facebook page, following us on Twitter or even via LinkedIn.
Using a recruitment company should be easy and we work hard every day to make it that way. It’s also why we promise that you’ll get a 15 minute update call for ASAP bookings, and why ultimately if you’re not happy with a temporary member of staff just let us know and we won’t charge you. It’s the same for permanent placements – if they haven’t worked out within with first 3 months then let us know – we’ll rebate you a proportion of the fee (terms apply) – guaranteed.
We know running nurseries can be a very busy job – and we’re here to make that job easier.
