Callie and Laurie Lewis

Somewhat akin to THE JUDDS, Callie and Laurie Lewis make up a fun, variety performing duo.
Both write, sing and play multiple instruments. Mother Laurie brings 30-years of music performing, producing and writing to the duo. Callie brings a teens take on country music.
The two are fun to watch. Often hard to decide who is the teen who is the parent. Laurie brings a charismatic veteran performer to the stage. Often a spritely energy about her, while Callie stands tall, a bit straight faced and ready to embellish on a song with chops from mandolin or ukulele.

The ladies bring a wide variety of styles to their music.
Loving root country, mixed with acoustic bluegrass, folk, and mountain harmonies.

Callie and Laurie  end 2014 with a fundraising project called Acappella Christmas. A CD created to raise funds for their local Humane Society. Plans are already in the works for the two for 2015 to release a country CD with focus on raising money and awareness for Breast Cancer Research.  

Callie and Laurie often sing under the name The Cowboy Sweethearts
