About |
Chords & Keys Press is an independent publishing imprint of Chords & Keys LLC in Merritt Island, Florida. We create thoughtful, accessible books exploring music, arts education, parenting, personal growth, and healthy living.
Our work is grounded in a simple belief: music and the arts can do far more than teach creative skills. They can help people develop confidence, resilience, discipline, curiosity, and a healthier understanding of growth. We publish resources that translate these ideas into practical guidance for parents, educators, students, and lifelong learners.
Our first full-length book, More Than Music: How Parents Can Raise Confident, Resilient Kids Through Music and the Arts, examines how creative learning can help children become more capable, persistent, and self-assured. Rather than measuring success only through technical achievement, the book encourages parents and teachers to recognize the personal development taking place as children practice, perform, make mistakes, manage frustration, and continue moving forward.
Chords & Keys Press also publishes Music and the Brain: A Guide to Healthy Listening, an accessible introduction to the relationship between music, the brain, emotional well-being, and responsible listening habits.
The press grew from the educational philosophy of Chords & Keys, a music and performing arts studio serving families on Florida’s Space Coast. That direct connection to students, families, instructors, and working artists helps keep our books practical, human, and connected to real experiences.
Through every publication, Chords & Keys Press seeks to help readers better understand the role music and the arts can play in building healthier individuals, stronger families, and more creative communities.
