Fairmount Community Development Corporation

Fairmount CDC develops programming in four strategic areas:

(1) Enhancing Public Space: Through services such as daily street sweeping, facilitating streetscape enhancements and fundraising for capital improvements, Fairmount CDC seeks to further position Fairmount as a world-class urban neighborhood.
(2) Setting the District’s Research Agenda: By providing updated research to entrepreneurs, developers and other stakeholders we use trends to help Fairmount grow in a way congruent with its population and diversity.
(3) Fostering High-Impact Events: Recognizing the community-building and branding opportunities special events offer, Fairmount CDC produces annual events along Fairmount Avenue, West Girard Avenue and small business campaigns (i.e. Restaurant Week and Small Business Saturday) throughout the Art Museum Area.
(4) Supporting a Vibrant Local Economy: Through the Greater Art Museum Business Alliance, Fairmount CDC providing marketing, professional development and networking opportunities to the business community throughout our district.
