The AKI Foundation’s Fish for the Cure Tournament began as a recreational competition fueled by a group of friends’ love for fishing and the Chesapeake Bay. When a board member was touched by cancer, the tournament became an annual event to raise money for charitable interests focused on cancer research, treatment and care. Today, proceeds from the Fish for a Cure Tournament benefit the Geaton and JoAnn DeCesaris Cancer Institute at the Anne Arundel Medical Center.
