About |
Established in 2011, the Flathead Rapids are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides high-quality soccer programs to the children of Montana's Flathead Valley.
Primarily serving Whitefish, Columbia Falls, and Kalispell, the Rapids offer spring and fall competitive programs, summer camps, winter training, and a variety of recreational programs. By focusing on both recreational and competitive divisions, the Rapids ensure they service all levels of soccer-related abilities and provide a venue for every child (age four to eighteen) to learn the value of team sports. This includes their four core values: teamwork, discipline, respect, and strength.
Working from an internal development plan, every year builds upon the technical and tactical skills of the one before, ensuring a seamless progression from year to year and an efficient and effective path to improvement.
Championing a full-circle philosophy, the Rapids also host an adult league, which gives adult soccer players the opportunity to play (at the competitive or recreational level) as well as give back to the club through coaching, volunteering, or reffing.
