Funny Bones Improv is a registered 501c3 charitable organization.  Our mission is to share the gifts and benefits of laughter with children and their families while in hospital as well as with the medical professionals who work with them. Hospital visits and long-term stays can be stressful for everyone, especially children.  Through Funny Bones Improv, we provide children with an opportunity to play with laughter and hopefully brighten their day, add a smile and a hearty laugh to reduce their stress.

Funny Bones Improv offers laughter therapy programs, including customized interactive improvised performances as well as Laughter Yoga sessions. Our programs have proven to positively impact any hospital’s child life services programs, as well as the patient’s and family’s personal experience. As advocates for laughter, we have seen firsthand the positive and healthful – both short term and long term – effects of laughter and believe that it is our responsibility to continue to share it in hospitals across the country.
