About

Hello, I’m Paul, Director of Pathlight Ltd.  I'm a psychotherapist in training and a Mental Health First Aid England Instructor Member, based in Greater Manchester, UK.

Pathlight Ltd embodies my passion for positive mental health and supporting others on their personal development journeys.  I am fascinated by human behaviour, how our past events affect our daily experiences and how we can find ways to enjoy contended, meaningful, peaceful and joyous lives.
Pathlight Ltd works passionately in the field of mental health, positive relationships and supporting others on their personal development journeys.

My mission is to:
1. Raise awareness of, provide support for and remove the stigma around mental health issues; and
2. Enhance mental, emotional and relational wellbeing, empowering others to be who they wish to be.

I am committed to providing an excellent service to all my clients, whether that be through offering training to organisations or personal support to individuals.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognised training course that teaches people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis.  MHFA won’t teach you to be a therapist, but just like physical first aid, it will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis.

The adult Mental Health First Aider course can be attended by anyone aged 16 and over, whether you wish to become an appointed Mental Health First Aider at your place of work or wish to support your family and friends who may be experiencing mental health issues.

Pathlight offers Mental Health First Aid training to organisations on an in-house basis, and also to individuals through open courses run in the community.
