About |
Animals have the ability to enhance our lives in profound and moving ways. Paws on a Page recognizes the special role that pets play by creating individualized hardcover books that celebrate your pet.
Through the combination of photos, graphics, quotes, anecdotes or other meaningful words, a Paws on a Page book provides a tangible and lasting memorial that captures your animal friend’s unique personality and impact on your life.
Whether you are mourning the loss of your pet, or want to honor a pet that is still living, a professionally designed Paws on a Page book will bring you or your loved one joy every time the pages are turned.
Paws on a Page was developed by Jennifer Breslow, an Art Therapist, Graphic Designer and serious animal lover.
THE PROCESS
STEP ONE: GATHERING MATERIALS
The first step toward creating your Paws on a Page book is to gather the materials that will fill the pages. Choose your images and any quotes, poems, stories, or other words that you’d like incorporated. A form will be provided for you to answer specific questions about your pet, such as his/her personality, demeanor and quirky traits. In addition, I will ask you about your design preferences—the overall look and feel, size of the book, colors, fonts, etc.
STEP TWO: DESIGN
In this phase, I will layout your book. Available book sizes are 10” x 8”,
13” x 11,” or 12” x 12.” Using the information provided by you in step one, I will weave quotes, pictures and graphics together to reflect your pet’s individual personality.
STEP THREE: PRINTING
Once the design is complete, your book is off to the printer! It will be digitally printed and turned into a hardcover book. Books will be printed in full-color on 100 lb. silk-finish paper, with a hard cover and dust jacket.
