PYROTEX Lights Up Texas for the 4th of July
For 37 Years, Pyrotex has been celebrating our Country’s Independence

Leonard, Texas – As the company owner, Randy Beckham, prepares for retirement, his predecessors prepare to delight audiences across Texas with over 30 shows in one weekend.

Pyrotex was born to “Tragedy”, the song by the BeeGees to be exact, our first client.  Thirty-seven years later, they produce over 150 shows a year from Lake Texhoma to Houston and Greenville to Lubbock.  The corporate office has been working all year to produce, design, and build the shows for this weekend.  Our 60+ pyrotechnicians will work in 100+ degree heat to create the magic that families enjoy at their local city festivals.

In addition to private shows at Country Clubs and HOAs, Pyrotex will light up the skies over –
July 1 – Greenville
July 2 – Commerce, Highport Marina, Plainview, Wylie, Six Flags Over Texas
July 3 – Arlington, Dallas, Coppell, Hereford, Princeton, Six Flags Over Texas
July 4 – Circuit of the Americas, CityCentre Houston, Duncanville, Firewheel Mall, Katy, McKinney, Rowlett, Six Flags Over Texas, Trophy Club, Washington-on-the-Brazos

Pyrotex invites you to celebrate with us again this year.  Contact Paige Mejia for an exclusive background look at the work that goes into producing a firework display.

About Pyrotex
Pyrotex was founded in 1979 by Randy Beckham in Dallas, Texas as a Pyropak® dealer and sold indoor equipment and materials on a retail level. In those early days, most clients were concert tours. Soon, the need for one-off indoor displays led to our full-time indoor pyrotechnics display business, shooting for corporate clients across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Dubai, Tokyo and the Caribbean. Pyrotex added their pyrotechnic magic to the silver screen in “Pure Country” and “Leap of Faith” and created a display for the final Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
Today, Pyrotex’s Dallas fireworks company is run by a management team of Derek Willingham – General Manager, Paige Mejia – Sales & Marketing Manager and Patrick Mahaffey – Production Manager. Randy Beckham remains as Creative Director. Our 60+ employees receive extensive annual training, are regularly drug tested, and are licensed by the State of Texas and the ATF. Based in the Dallas area, we travel throughout the State and beyond.
