Shore Scripts was set up to help emerging screenwriters break into the industry.

Each year, we award production grants through our Short Film Fund and a development grant through our Development Fund. We connect writers with agents, managers, producers, and production companies through our annual Feature and TV Pilot contests. We also offer script coverage and proofreading services.

Shore Scripts is made up of a small number of filmmakers working in the US and UK film industries. Along with our Oscar, Cannes, Emmy, Golden Globe & BAFTA-winning judges, we have strong industry connections. Over 300 production companies, agents & managers are all on board to read each year’s best scripts. We also have a directors roster, creating another avenue for writers to have their work considered.

Our goal is to help writers forge careers for themselves in this notoriously difficult industry.
