About

For 10 years, SEN has been committed to empowering women and girls, including victims of domestic violence and the community at large. Located in Riverdale, Georgia, SEN is a 501(c)(3) Not-for-Profit, volunteer based community organization that plays a vital role in addressing violence against women and children. We believe that empowerment is the cornerstone of women's progress. We strive to empower domestic violence victims and their families who are experiencing turbulent transition in regaining or maintaining control of their lives and the lives of their children by providing them with all the emotional, economical and social resources and services available at our disposal.

Our main objective is to prepare victims with tangible support to ensure they attain self-sufficiency. SEN strives to be a source of support for these women who need a helping hand.

Our vision is to model a positive environment where women can make their own life choices for themselves and their children that are safe, respectful and healthy. Our focus is to create a unified diverse community where all people are free to live a peaceful, productive violent free life.

Our mission is to educate women to become self-sufficient. We do this by preparing them to achieve their full potential through support services, referrals, training, leadership and career development.  As advocates for social change, we advance our mission by increasing community awareness on the devastating impact or the causes and affects of domestic violence.

Sisters Empowerment Network, Inc. is governed by its core values. They define the character of or organization. They guide how to behave and make decisions.
