ATLAS.ti Scientific Software Development GmbH ATLAS.ti was originally created as part of an interdisciplinary research project at the TU Berlin from 1989 to 1992. Program developer and founder of ATLAS.ti GmbH, Thomas Muhr, later revised the program and released the first commercial version in 1993.
