I'm a musician - it's my life. I write music, play music, sing music and record it. I started out before aged 4 playing piano and went on to study
classical music at the Royal Academy of Music in London, learning several other instruments in the process.
My influences have been classical yes but also rock, blues, jazz, ragtime, heavy metal, reggae - most things in fact - however it is blues that has always spoken loudest in my heart and soul.
I had a long held dream to write and perform and produce my own blues music in my own way and I've now achieved that.
I don't knowingly imitate or emulate - I just do it all my own way as I think you will find if you take the time to listen.
I have been fortunate to receive many accolades so far including the
Globla Thunda Network Inaugural Independent Artist Award 2010
and now have been inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame as Ambassador to New Zealand.
Music is my life - that's just how it is.
