The 809 International Art Village (District)

The 809 International Art Village (District) dedicated to the promotion of national and international contemporary artists. It includes a art museum, a gallery space, a multi-media room, and a project space, and  artists' residency studios. The 809 brings about closer cooperation between art organizations and offers individual artists the chance to develop their own projects through  artists-in-residence program.

The 809 International Art Village (District) is located in the Three Gorges Dam area, Yichang City (Hubei Province) of Western area of China inland. The 809 also call “The 809 Factories”– that is in an excellent location, in the Yichang City, just 30 minutes from the  809 to Yichang City Train Station, a taxi from the Airport takes approximately 40 - 50 minutes to the 809 or to Yichang city. 30 Km from the  809 to Shennongjia Scenic Area.
