FDNA, Inc. develops AI-based next-generation phenotyping technology that helps clinicians, labs, researchers, and families address developmental, neurological, rare, and genetic disorders earlier.
Founded in 2011, FDNA is used in more than 10,000 medical centers worldwide, spans a global user network across over 130 countries, and is referenced in over 150 peer-reviewed publications and articles. Its technology captures and structures complex phenotype information - from photos, symptoms, and clinical history - into organized case information for review.
Face2Gene is FDNA's clinician-facing application. It supports qualified healthcare professionals with visual phenotyping, symptom analysis, syndrome prioritization, and gene-prioritization context to make genetic evaluations more efficient. Face2Gene is an informational tool for use by licensed healthcare professionals. It does not provide a diagnosis and must not be used as the sole basis for clinical decision-making; all outputs are non-diagnostic and must be validated through clinical evaluation and appropriate testing.
Family Health Checker is FDNA's parent- and caregiver-facing tool (US). It helps families organize concerns, answer structured questions with photo guidance, and prepare a clinician-ready summary for a more productive visit. It is non-diagnostic and does not replace medical evaluation.
FDNA also offers a digital front door for health systems and phenotype-enrichment workflows for genetic testing labs, researchers, CROs, and biopharma partners - connecting consumer-scale intake to clinical-grade evaluation.
FDNA describes its IP estate as 33 granted patents across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
