About

The Failure Ball's mission is to drag dark secrets into the light, while destigmatizing the often-hidden struggles faced by successful entrepreneurs, small business owners, and freelancers. Rather than letting failures fester and feast on self-esteem and mental health, they’re brought into the light of day and celebrated.

After all, failure is simply an inevitable side effect of effort — and effort is always worth raucously cheering for.

According to a 2024 study by the National Institute of Mental Health, entrepreneurs are twice as likely to experience suicidal ideation or attempt suicide compared to the general population. This critical issue is why the Failure Ball was born.

Every other year, they bring together 200 small business owners as 9 industry leaders give toasts to their most shameful secrets and massive fails. It takes place in a restored 1902 historic mansion, full of entrepreneurs & whole humans who's succeeded, giving tell-all toasts to their biggest biffs.

These candid accounts erase stigma and instantly create the accepting, warm community that entrepreneurs crave.

All profits from the event will be donated to programs focused on suicide education, awareness, and prevention in Denver and beyond.
