After graduating from the University of Westminster with first-class honours in Commercial Music in 2003, Steven Colborne began his career in the music industry. After a season of mental anguish following the death of his mother, he read the Bible, became a Christian, and returned to university to study Philosophy and Religion. He proceeded to embark upon a career as a self-publishing author of philosophical theology books.

To date, Colborne has self-published sixteen books related to philosophy, religion, and spirituality, and they are all available exclusively through his website StevenColborne.com on a pay as you wish basis. He also works as a musician (under the name Agony and Ecstasy) and following a gruelling journey through the mental health system in London he now also offers affordable counselling.
